Working safely at heights requires proper training.

On June 9, 2012, amendments were made to PEI’s Fall Protection Regulations to include training requirements. Section 2.1 was added to describe the employer’s responsibilities to provide training for those who work at heights. All workers and employers who engage in work at heights should be aware of these requirements and are encouraged to contact WCB Occupational Health and Safety at 902-368-5697 or 1-800-237-5049 with any questions.
