IMPORTANT NOTICE - Canada Post Service Disruption
UPDATE – December 3, 2024 The WCB continues to monitor the situation on a day-by-day basis, and will only issue mail if, and when, it’s possible to do so, to minimize disruption to our clients. Filing a claim For workers and employers, the quickest way to start the claim process with the WCB is to do online. Workers can file here - https://secure2.wcb.pe.ca/Workers/WorkersReport Employers can file here - https://wcb.pe.ca/Employers/OnlineServicesSignIn Dropping off documents Workers and employers can securely drop off claim forms and other WCB-related documents at: The WCB head office, 14 Weymouth Street, Charlottetown, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Worker’s and Employer Report – workerservices@wcb.pe.ca Employer Accounts (registration, renewals, etc.) – safetymatter@wcb.pe.ca Payments The WCB has actively been reaching out to clients and to make arrangements to make sure payments continue to be made in a timely manner. The mail strike does not affect those who receive their payments through direct deposit. Injured workers and health care providers are encouraged to set up direct deposit. That’s not possible this year with the ongoing Canada Post strike. However, rate letters are now available by calling the WCB’s Employer Services at 902-368-5680 or toll-free 1-800-237-5049 in Atlantic Canada. You can also contact us by email at safetymatters@wcb.pe.ca Our Online Services remain available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, where you can submit claims, reports, review account balances and remit account payments electronically.
