Potential Facebook Messenger Scam
The WCB of PEI has been made aware of a possible scam on Facebook Messenger with individuals pretending to be from the WCB and targeting Islanders.
According to the reports, the message promises prize money for clicking a link which is a phishing attempt by scammers.
The WCB of PEI does not have a Facebook Messenger account and is not operating any promotional activity of that nature.
